• Arrangements have been made for a triage nurse, Nurse Pracitioner or Physician to be available after hours for urgent calls that cannot wait until usual office hours.

• Parents should continue to call the main office phone # (561) 242-0505 even after posted office hours for additional information.
• All Calls are answered by either a triage nurse or the Physician on call, who will keep a written record of the child’s problem and the recommendation/advice given for chart documentation and review by Infants and Children, P.A. physicians.
• In the event that the triage nurse has a question regarding the child’s problem, or the problem is beyond her scope of training, the doctor on call will be contacted for further instructions and guidance.
• Either way, Infants and Children, P.A. medical staff will be accessible and available to help you 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
• If for some reason our phone calls are not forwarded to our answering service please feel free to call our answering service directly after hours at 800-393-1806.

A: Yes! Drs. Roberts, Beattie, Rodriguez, Romear, Hanlon, Clayton, Chibar and Asha are all accepting new patients. Just give our office a call at (561) 242-0505, and we can arrange your first appointment.

A. Families can register in either office and patients may be be seen in one office or the other. The one exception is on Saturdays when only the West Palm Beach office opens for emergency visits.

A: We strive to have each child seen by their primary provider at each and every visit. There are, of course, times when that provider may be away from the office, and in that instance, an appointment would be scheduled with the next physician or Nurse Practitioner of choice.

A. Please call as early as possible to see if your other child can be seen around the time of your scheduled appointment and we will try our best to accommodate you.  If not, we will offer you the next available appointment.

A.  Infants and Children will see your teenager until 6 months after the completion of high school. At the 18 year old (or pre-college) physical we will give your teenager a packet of information including our Medical Records Release Form and referrals to other physicians who may assume his/her care.

A: Please bring your child’s immunization records and your current insurance information.

A: In this world of increasing antibiotic resistance, proper management of antibiotic use is important. We want to make sure that we are treating a specific ailment that will improve with antibiotic use, therefore, we like to make sure all children seek medical attention prior to being prescribed an antibiotic.

 A. Yes.  Our West Palm Beach and Jupiter office have separate waiting rooms for sick and well children as well as a waiting room for Newborns in West Palm Beach.

 A. We are open on Saturday mornings for urgent sick visits.

A: If your child is seriously ill, calling 911 is the most appropriate action. Even if you are on vacation, you can call our office at (561) 242-0505, and one of our Nurses will return your call.

 A. Although we don’t offer evening hours, we always have a team of Nurses, Nurse Practitioners and physician’s on-call for urgent questions and emergencies after regular office hours.
